Curriculum
I am currently a professor at the EHESP in the Department of Human and Social Sciences and I started working there in September 2015. My field is mostly about Occupational Health as a key Public Health challenge.
Beforehand, I worked for more than 20 years as a contractual researcher, in France and abroad. After a Master degree at Montreal University (1993-1994), I carried out a study entitled Precarious Employment and Working Conditions in the UE (1998) for Dublin Foundation, Eurofound. I started my PhD in 1999, with a financial support from the Minister of Labor. My subject was about occupational accidents, which I studied analyzing their impacts on the personal and professional life of the injured workers, Understanding occupational accidents and what happens to the injured. A sociological approach to the blind spots of a public health issue (2005). Simultaneously, I was still working for EuroFound in Dublin, directing a study on Work organization and Health in Europe (2003). Then I studied in a Scientific Organization called GISCOP93 (Paris-13 University) for my Postdoctoral degree (2006-2007). I extended my professional experience doing more research at Nantes University (2008-2010) and independently as a freelancer (2010-2015). I ran sociological studies commissioned by public or private organizations, such as French agency for research (ANR), Minister of Labor, French Minister of Health, associations, health insurances.
